If you are reading this because you or a loved one has recently been charged with an OUI and you are in a panic not knowing who to hire, your luck is about to change. I was in your exact position early in 2017. I had met with several attorney’s prior to meeting with Mike who wanted to plea to a CWOF (continued without a finding) on my case. A CWOF is basically a guilty finding because the next OUI will be considered a second offense. Additionally, CWOF’s are readily agreed to by most DA’s and even a lousy lawyer can get you to this stage. Those other lawyers I met with were just looking for a quick and easy buck. This is not what I wanted. I was distraught and found Mike through an internet search, which I thought was a little risky, but I was desperate for help. After meeting with him, he said we had a good case, but it would probably have to go all the way to trial. Mike and his staff were responsive and professional throughout the multitude of court dates we had to endure. He is a gifted courtroom presence. He made an experienced police Lieutenant look like a bumbling fool. He made many objections during testimony, most of which were sustained by the judge. At one point a saw a hint of a smile on the judges face during Mike’s examination of a witness…….that’s when I knew for sure I had made the right choice in hiring him. Not Guilty. I feel like I hit the lottery finding this talented attorney who is the “needle” in the haystack you are looking through. I know this sounds like an ad for the guy, but I know the stress and anxiety I went through making a decision on who to hire and if I can help one person by writing this, I will have done a good deed. Not all cases are winnable, but this guy is your absolute best chance.
